Ann Winnard
"AnnieFire"
Owner/ Performer
A lifelong performer, Ann stepped on her first stage at 6 years old as a dancer. She was awarded the "Miss Smile" award, a trophy that imprinted on her as she recognized early on what a gift it is to make people smile through your own joy. Ann continued entertaining audiences of all kinds through college, and then professionally, as a dancer, actor, stunt performer, stilt walker, clown, balloon artist and face painter.
In 2006 Ann found fire breathing and Annie Fire was born. Quickly adding poi to her list of skills, she found like-minded friends and created Over the Moon Productions as an opportunity to share her skills with the world. It didn't take long to add hoops, double staffs, and fans to the mix, also focusing heavily on fire eating and vapor illusions.
A now retired fire breather & eater, Annie misses wowing the crowds with the more daring fire arts but has found comfort in connection by creating with others. Choreography and group acts have brought her back to the beginning; the dance, the underlying heartbeat of her life.
